Role Overview

We seek an accomplished Solar Project Manager with extensive experience in leading and managing MW-scale solar power projects.

The ideal candidate will have complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Strategy

  • Define detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

2. Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors.

3. Engineering & Technical Oversight

  • Review engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.

4. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.

5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.

6. Project Closure & Handover

  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
  • Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight timelines.
Essential Skills And Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/energy-related field.

• 12+ years of experience in large-scale solar projects.

• Strong understanding of renewable energy regulations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Competencies:

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

• Strong negotiation and client management abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Additional Desirable Skills:

• Master's degree in related field (preferred).
