Lead Operational Risk Manager

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and leading independent projects across various operational risk management areas.

  • Manage projects to assess operational risk, develop policies and procedures, conduct internal control assessments, and review existing frameworks and risk matrices.
  • Prepare project plans for timely delivery and review existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk matrices for theoretical soundness and testing design.
  • Identify changes to the risk profile and consider its impact on risk rating and meet business needs and regulatory expectations.
  • Demonstrate independence in planning, stakeholder engagement, results interpretation, and presentation.
  • Engage with clients and risk departments to ensure timely completion and finalization of projects.
  • Provide regular updates on project execution and quality reviews, identifying findings that warrant discussions with Risk Management Committees.
  • Develop and present risk dashboards and analytics on key items, demonstrating value provided to clients.
  • Have a deep understanding of global and Indian frameworks, methodologies, and standards on process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements.
  • Have strong understanding of financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles, leading team building, mentoring, and project management.
  • Excellent MS-Excel, Word, and PPT skills are required.

  3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  5. Analytics: Develop and present risk dashboards and analytics to demonstrate value to clients.
