**Primary Years Programme Coordinator Opportunity**

Are you an experienced educator passionate about leading and enhancing our Primary Years Programme? We are seeking a dedicated professional to foster an engaging, student-centered environment and work closely with teachers, students, and parents to promote inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with IB guidelines, ensuring effective delivery of the PYP and fostering a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of the PYP, providing guidance and support for transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff, promoting understanding of the PYP.
  • Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP and its principles.
  • Coordinate and support student assessments, maintaining records as per IB requirements.
  • Stay updated with IB developments and changes to ensure adherence to IB standards.
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the IB organization.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching, with a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and commitment to professional growth.
