Job Title: Senior Interior Design Manager

A highly skilled professional is required to lead interior design initiatives and drive business success.

  • Design & Delivery:
    • Transform client briefs into captivating spatial concepts, encompassing rooms and public areas.
    • Evaluate and approve layout plans, guest flow, and functional adjacencies, ensuring a seamless experience.
    • Guarantee adherence to hospitality brand standards, local codes, and accessibility norms.
  • Quality Control:
    • Review detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, joinery details, and MEP coordination.
    • Approve Room Data Sheets, Door/Hardware Schedules, and Mock-Up Evaluations, maintaining the highest level of quality.
    • Conduct design audits and create comprehensive Design Basis Reports.
  • FF&E & Specifications:
    • Manage room matrices and furniture take-offs with precision.
    • Oversee spec creation using tools like DesignSpec/SpecSources, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Verify nomenclature, finish codes, warranty/fire rating information, and other critical details.
  • 3D Visualization:
    • Establish quality standards for SketchUp/Revit, Lumion/Enscape, V-Ray renderings, pushing the boundaries of visual excellence.
    • Guide render scene setup, materiality, lighting, and walkthroughs to create immersive experiences.
  • Budget & Program Alignment:
    • Sequence deliverables and manage design schedules, ensuring timely completion.
    • Provide Value Engineering (VE) options without compromising scope, driving innovation and cost-effectiveness.
    • Maintain assumption logs, design risk registers, and change control, guaranteeing transparency and accountability.
  • Team & Vendor Management:
    • Coach and review the performance of design team members, fostering growth and development.
    • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring collaboration.
    • Ensure proper documentation and version control across all files and deliverables, maintaining order and clarity.
