About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Java developer to join our team in Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking Division. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that manage the trade lifecycle across Interest Rates & Credit Derivatives, Foreign Exchange & Money Market businesses.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analysis, design, and development of Credit Derivative system components along with functional and development teams
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications by implementing planned engineering changes as part of agile feature teams
- Implementation and compliance with bank policies, including naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability, and other non-functional requirements
- Design, implementation, execution, and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience, and performance tests
- Code reviews based on the four-eye principle
- Level-3 technical support, as well as problem and root cause analysis
Your Skills and Experience
- B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer Science
- A hands-on technologist with 4-7 years of experience in Java/C++ technologies, Micro-services architecture, CI/CD pipeline
- Strong Java Server Side and SQL – Oracle RDBMS experience
- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)
Desired Skills
- Angular, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS
- C#, .NET 3.5 (or higher), and Microsoft Visual Studio certification and experience
- Event-based frameworks, Spring Boot, Apache camel, Kafka, NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Cassandra, Oracle NoSQL), Public cloud (AWS, Google, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- TDD, BDD
- Experience in Investment Banking/Financial domain
