About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Pune based Software Delivery Centre and participate in the development and delivery of our bank connectivity product (FIS Bank Connector).

As a key member of our dedicated product development SCRUM team, you will work in an iterative delivery model, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

FIS offers award-winning Treasury and Risk management solutions that support a best-in-class, digital, modernized functions. Our market-leading solutions include Enterprise Risk Suite, Insurance Accounting Suite, Bank Account Manager, Payment Hub, Treasury & Risk Manager - Quantum edition, and Treasury & Risk Manager - Integrity.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work in sprints – participate in design, development, unit testing, and defect fixing of the product
  • Support team members with writing quality code, conduct code reviews for junior members in the team
  • Contribute towards creating and imparting high-quality training (and material) to train new joiners in the team
  • Provide UAT and production support on need basis for new customer onboarding
  • Train and communicate with clients on systems application

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience
  • 6+ years' commercial software development (Java/Spring/Microservices) experience
  • Experience working with application Servers Tomcat / Wildfly / Weblogic
  • Unix environment and proven knowledge of scripting languages
  • Sound knowledge of JAVA Design Patterns
  • Familiarity with all facets of SDLC ranging from inception to deployment using DevOps
  • SQL programming for Oracle and MS SQL
  • Proven experience with agile teams and backlog management processes, facilitating leadership style
  • Fluency in English language and excellent communication and presentation skills is a must
  • Ability to build strong relationships with extended global teams is a must
