About the Role:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software systems that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and develop approaches and designs for features/epics.
  • Implement architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
  • Work independently in a SAFe Agile model with developers, BAs, and architects to meet end-business and performance goals.
  • Drive conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software delivered meets business objectives and has the highest quality.
  • Participate in code reviews (self and team) and suggest/fix defects/design issues identified.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of product features as per the product roadmap.
  • Support issue analysis/triaging and provide fixes during test phases, as well as production issue resolution to ensure key product SLAs are met.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in the transition of application components to testers.
  • Present and highlight features in product demos to a wider audience/customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design using Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services.
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTful Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required; a Master's degree is a plus. Experience with Agile Development practices and processes is also essential. Preferred experience in developing packaged software (products) preferably in the banking, insurance, or financial services areas.
