Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant (Development Accountant) with 3+ years of experience in U.S. property management accounting. This role will focus on development accounting, financial reporting, and supporting key property management operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Development Accounting
  • Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing.
  • Handle draw accounting, including preparation and tracking of draw requests.
  • Process and approve payables, wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Run aging reports and follow up with vendors for outstanding balances.
  • Record rent and other receivables accurately and on time.
  • Monitor tenant ledgers, reconcile payments, and follow up on overdue balances.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in U.S. property management (development focus preferred).
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Yardi.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
