Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build highly scalable applications, hands-on and deal with large/complex architectures.
  • Work on distributed systems.
  • Solve complex problems, manage teams in a fast-paced environment and evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
  • Manage teams, lead and develop talent Passion for Results.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies Tech background with a good understanding of data, metrics and building models is preferred.
  • Capable of taking business metrics, breaking them into investment areas, and leading thought in these areas.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements for new products.
  • Drive initiatives to improve overall quality and reliability of software.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically.
  • Deliver results with consistency, quality, efficiency and timeliness.
  • Manage multiple feature teams working on shipping multiple capabilities and features.
  • Provide technical guidance to team on approach and architecture.
  • Work with stakeholders to provide transparency, proactively unblock teams, and maximize engineering throughput.
  • Align teams with organizational process and goals.
  • Empower engineers to make biggest impact possible for company while reaching their professional development goals.
  • Work with leads and ICs and provide them the right opportunity to grow while driving their productivity and morale.
  • Execute engineering efficiency projects based on learning.
  • Provide inputs and drive process improvements.
  • Drive and provide guidance on performance reviews for team.
  • Take ownership of hiring and onboarding for engineering team.
  • Leadership & Management Skills: Motivate, coach, and guide teams effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking & Planning: Contribute to overall strategic direction of company.
