Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation by ensuring the smooth operation of our test centre in Khopoli.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair diesel/oil burners, pumps, motors, and mechanical seals to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Install gear drives, bearings, conveyors, and high-temp/high-pressure seals to meet the demands of our cutting-edge systems.
  • Troubleshoot sensors, bearings, and ASME-standard pipe systems with preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
  • Support commissioning, retrofits, and manage critical spares with detailed logs to maintain accurate records and facilitate future repairs.
  • Utilize strong local networks for sourcing parts and coordinating services to ensure timely delivery and minimize costs.
  • Ensure safety compliance, root cause analysis, and structured process discipline to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in repair and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and proactive mindset to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • Discipline and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.
  • Welding, CAD design, PLC/HMI basics, and local sourcing expertise to support the installation and maintenance of complex systems.
