System Maintenance Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems on ships and in the shipbuilding sector.

Your primary focus will be on commissioning, servicing, and repairing intricate systems, as well as developing, testing, and implementing applications for PLCs and SCADA systems.

You will work closely with customers to deliver successful service and commissioning activities, utilizing your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission and repair complex systems on ships and in the shipbuilding sector
  • Develop and implement applications for PLCs and SCADA systems
  • Maintain control systems, including sensors, actuators, transmitters, and control valves
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics/Automation/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commissioning and service/repair of marine/shipbuilding sector equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills:
  • PLC programming and SCADA systems experience with brands like Schnieder, Phoenix, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, or Siemens
  • Commissioning experience in Marine Tank Gauging and control system, Ballast Water Management system, Valve remote control system

This role requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent problem-solving abilities. As a System Maintenance Specialist, you will travel to various locations in India to ensure the smooth operation of complex systems on ships and in the shipbuilding sector.

You will work closely with customers to deliver successful service and commissioning activities, utilizing your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical and electronic engineering principles and excellent communication and coordination skills.
