About the Role:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams. This involves managing inbound sea and air freights to global locations, working closely with regional counterparts for outbound freights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages day-to-day logistics tasks, including shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor coordination.

  • Ensures accurate preparation and verification of documentation, such as bills of lading, certificates of origin, LC documentation, duty forms, and duty exemption.

  • Oversees import/export operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.

  • Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with suppliers and customs authorities to ensure compliance with all trade regulations.

  • Analyses imports and export-related port data to identify opportunities to reduce taxes and duties.

  • Maintains proper documentation, tracks goods, and optimizes logistics to ensure efficient deliveries while mitigating risks in global trade.

  • Manages import/export budgets and tracks freight and duty expenses to analyze margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Performs risk assessments and enacts contingency plans to ensure secure and reliable import/export processes.
