Cloud Infrastructure Expert

Job Description:

This role involves designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust cloud architecture using AWS services.
  • AWS Services Management: Proficiently manage various AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, and Cost Explorer.
  • ECS/EKS Clusters Setup: Experience in setting up ECS/EKS clusters, configuring deployments and implementing performance-based scaling.
  • Terraform and CloudFormation: Skilled in automating infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • RDS Database Management: Hands-on experience with setting up RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and managing intranet user access.
  • Network Configurations: Specialized knowledge in network configurations using services such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes, proficient with Bitbucket/GitHub for pipeline creation and familiar with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Cost Analysis and Optimization: Strong background in cost analysis and resource optimization, knowledgeable in using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for granular cost insights.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing, building and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AWS services, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker and networking concepts.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a proactive team player.
