Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional experience with FastAPI and Django, as well as a proven track record of building and scaling microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.
  2. Build and deploy microservices from scratch, ensuring reliability and performance.
  3. Decide and implement the right storage solutions (SQL vs. NoSQL) depending on use case.
  4. Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.
  5. Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.
  6. Work with asynchronous programming and understand Python's internals, including the GIL.
  7. Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed.
  8. Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in backend development with FastAPI and Django.
  2. Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  3. Familiarity with database design, including relational vs. non-relational DBs.
  4. Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.
  5. Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, etc.).
  6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  7. Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to frontend development.
  8. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container tools is a plus.
  9. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is also a plus.
