Job Role: Data Analyst

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily production procedures and controls with precision to meet tight deadlines.
  • Perform routine quality assurance checks on prices and market activity to understand their impact on clients or index calculations.
  • Deliver Index Products to internal & external clients in a timely manner.
  • Analyze client queries and collaborate with Client Service teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Tackle day-to-day operational challenges effectively.
  • Continuously review processes for enhancements, efficiencies, and scalability opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of index calculation methodologies and update the index database according to changes in constituents, coverage, or methodology.
  • Contribute to projects involving client or internal product requirements by developing or reviewing business specifications followed by testing.
  • Extract insights from large datasets to inform business decisions.
  • Apply statistical techniques and data mining tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Present complex data clearly to stakeholders across departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in capital markets, data, and risk management.
  • Good understanding of markets, finance, financial statements, and corporate events.
  • Knowledge/Experience of working in Index management space is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Reuters and/or Bloomberg market data systems is an advantage.
  • SQL and basic UNIX command is an advantage.
