We seek a highly skilled Cloud Automation Specialist to spearhead our cloud infrastructure automation efforts. As a key figure in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions, you will drive the creation of cloud automation strategies, tackle complex technical challenges, and craft resilient and scalable infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions and infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure deployment.
  • Create complex automation scripts and tools using Python or Bash to automate provisioning, configuration, and management tasks.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
  • Develop and maintain automated monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze root causes for technical issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless automation of cloud operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Automation Specialist with over 8 years of hands-on experience.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms and their automation tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of security automation and compliance tools.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and principles.
