Job Opportunity for Observability Support

Are you passionate about ensuring the reliability and performance of data platforms? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Observability Support Specialist.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who can provide essential operational support for observability tools and processes. This includes maintaining monitoring dashboards, collecting logs and metrics, and ensuring observability infrastructure functions smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support observability systems for logging, monitoring, and alerting across data platforms
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of dashboards, alerts, and metrics for platform health
  • Help collect and organize performance data to support incident triage and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with platform and SRE teams to ensure observability tooling is up to date and functioning
  • Maintain documentation and operational checklists for observability tasks and recurring activities
  • Participate in root cause analysis and support post-incident review processes
  • Assist in basic scripting or automation tasks related to observability tooling or data collection

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in a technical support, DevOps, infrastructure, or systems monitoring role
  • Proficient with ETL Pipelines
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or similar
  • Understanding of basic monitoring concepts (e.g., metrics, logs, alerts, uptime)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) and basic infrastructure operations
  • Comfortable using CLI tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation
