Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our molecular biology and genetics team. This is a senior leadership role where you will drive the strategy, execution, and innovation in molecular biology and genetic engineering.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Your expertise in virus gene editing, viral vector-based recombinant protein platforms, and virus-host interaction studies will be invaluable in shaping our company's future.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6 scientists: Set clear goals and growth plans for each member.
  • Design and execute R&D strategies: Ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
  • Manage budgets and resources: Oversee all molecular biology and genetics-related activities.
  • Drive innovation: Develop new technologies and improve existing ones.
  • Collaborate with IP teams: Protect our company's technology through patent filings.
  • Improve R&D processes: Enhance efficiency and reproducibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, or related field: Minimum 7 years of relevant R&D experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Virus gene editing and CRISPR design tools: Familiarity with plasmid/vector design and cloning simulation tools.
  • Strong track record of scientific innovation: Experience in setting up R&D processes and working with intellectual property teams.
