Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced AS400 Developer to join our team.

  • Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming is essential.
  • Proficient in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and creating/sub-debugging RPG/CL programs.
  • Ability to create sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs.
  • Familiarity with SEU, PDM, DFU, and spool files is required.
  • Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) is also necessary.
  • Knowledge of web services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript as an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client requirements, create design documents, and walk clients through the process.
  • Assist junior team members in development and ensure successful project delivery.

We require the ideal candidate to have hands-on experience with IBM AS400 iSeries platforms, including RPGLE programming. They should also be familiar with Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and have experience creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.

The ability to create sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs is crucial, along with knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and spool files. Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) is also essential.

While not necessary, knowledge of web services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is considered an added advantage. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle client requirements, create design documents, and walk clients through the process.

They should also be able to assist junior team members in development and ensure successful project delivery.
