AS400 Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical professional with expertise in AS400 testing to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute test cases for IBM i-based applications on the AS400 platform.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers, ensuring thorough coverage of system functionality.
  • Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing to verify seamless interactions between systems.
  • Identify, document, and triage defects in collaboration with development teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Analyze test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing strategies.
  • Ensure consistency and traceability across test environments and data sets through meticulous planning and execution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in AS400 testing and related domains.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL queries and proficiency in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of manual and automated testing principles, as well as test case design and execution methodologies.
