Job Description

As a seasoned database expert, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex relational databases to meet business requirements. Your expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling will be invaluable in optimizing database performance and ensuring seamless data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable database architectures using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Develop and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for data transformation and loading using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models that meet business needs.
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and availability through monitoring and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Data Modelling Concepts: Knowledge of data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).
  • Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Cloud-based Databases: Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
