Database Administrator (MongoDB)

A skilled Database Administrator is required to design, implement and maintain mission-critical databases. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance and security while collaborating with multiple teams to drive database efficiency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices for MongoDB administration and database management.
  • Install, configure and maintain database systems.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize it for better results.
  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ensure security protocols, data protection and compliance measures are in place.
  • Collaborate across teams to provide solutions and support critical business applications.
  • Assist in the development of database policies and procedures.
  • Take ownership of team decisions and contribute to key organizational initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in MongoDB administration.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in backup, recovery and replication strategies.
  • Familiarity with query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of database security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Educational qualification: minimum 15 years full-time education.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Broader exposure to NoSQL and relational database systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based database deployments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps automation for database administration.
