Job Opportunity: Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and testing complex system testbeds using various networking devices and servers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop system testbeds using Mist Access Points and other networking devices and servers.
  • Perform quality assurance validation of 802.11 Wireless and Mist proprietary features, including end-to-end validation of client-to-cloud architecture.
  • Recreate customer issues in the lab and work closely with engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Conduct performance testing using iPerf.
  • Collaborate with the CS team to review customer report defects and enhance test coverage.
  • Create and track bugs in Jira.
  • Escalate critical issues timely.
  • Develop technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
  • Train and guide Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies.
Key Requirements:
  • A lead engineer with at least 8 years of experience in software testing and development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards.
