Senior Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Strategist to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function across the business unit.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting cycles, identifying risks, opportunities, and communicating analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading planning and budgeting cycles, identifying risks, opportunities, and communicating analysis to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate forecasting of cash flow, profit and loss statement, and balance sheet across weekly, monthly, and annual cycles.
  • Analysing and monitoring group spend, developing reporting suites, and supporting senior leaders in supervising initiatives and benefits.
  • Coordinate business partnering, engaging senior leaders across global teams.
  • Challenging spend, ensuring cost alignment with plans, and recommending improvements.
  • Supporting arguments for capital projects and initiatives, analysing outcomes and ensuring delivery.
  • Providing insights on spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving optimisation.
  • Partnering with Procurement on supplier contracts and processes.
  • Continuously reviewing and optimising reporting and accounting procedures.

Requirements include:

  • Proven business partnering with senior leaders in global organisations.
  • Independent, detail-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Experience in improving or creating planning and reporting processes.
  • Organised, fast-paced, and deadline-driven.
  • Strong communicator, able to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
