We are looking for a skilled engineer to design and develop irrigation infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have expertise in civil engineering, specifically in hydraulics and water resources engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Design hydraulic structures like dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems using standard engineering codes and software.
  • Develop micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Prepare hydraulic modeling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Develop detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams for integrated designs.
  • Support the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports).
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and review discussions with stakeholders.

5-7 years of relevant experience in designing and drawing dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.

Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.

Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.

Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
