Photon is a leading organization in the US IT recruitment industry, seeking an experienced US IT Recruitment Lead to drive and manage end-to-end talent acquisition in the US IT domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of US recruitment processes, regulations, and trends, as well as a track record of successfully sourcing and placing IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of IT recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. They will allocate and oversee recruitment responsibilities, ensuring the team meets hiring deadlines and quality standards.
  • Additionally, they will provide training and upskilling opportunities for the team to stay updated with the latest IT recruitment trends and tools.
  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
  • The chosen candidate will develop, implement, and manage effective recruitment strategies to fill IT roles, including niche and hard-to-fill positions, across various technologies.
  • They will design and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy, leveraging multiple channels such as job portals, social media, internal databases, and networking to attract top IT talent in the US market.
  • The role requires building and maintaining a talent pipeline for current and future US-based IT roles.
  • Candidate Engagement & Management:
  • The successful candidate will lead candidate sourcing, screening, and qualification processes. They will assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization or client.
  • Owning the candidate experience, they will ensure timely communication, updates, and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Furthermore, they will negotiate salaries and other employment terms with candidates, ensuring a smooth hiring experience and securing candidate commitment.
  • Qualifications:
    • Experience:
    • The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years of proven US IT recruitment experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
    • Hands-on experience recruiting for various IT roles (Software Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, etc.) within the US market is required.
    • A strong understanding of US recruitment practices, visa types (H1B, GC, OPT, etc.), and employment regulations is essential.
    • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders, candidates, and clients are necessary.
    • Solid negotiation skills to secure the best terms for both the company and candidates are expected.
    • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job portals (LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice), and other recruitment tools is mandatory.
    • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, eager to meet and exceed recruitment targets is preferred.
