Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient data processing pipelines using Apache Trino (PrestoSQL) in production environments for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Optimize SQL queries to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks, such as Hadoop and Spark, and large-scale data systems like Hive Metastore, Iceberg, Delta Lake, and HDFS.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Trino (PrestoSQL) in production environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and large-scale data systems.
