System Architect Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing cloud infrastructure on AWS for high-availability, scalability, resilience, reliability, and performance. This includes automating infrastructure deployment via Terraform and programming using Python, Java, Ruby, or JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Automate infrastructure deployment via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Program using one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or JavaScript
  • Manage container orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn, ECS, EKS)
  • Monitor infrastructure and visualization software like Prometheus, Grafana etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
  • 8-12 years of software industry experience with at least 4 years of experience in SRE role
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
  • Excellent programming skills in one or more high-level languages
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration technology
  • Experience with monitoring infrastructure and visualization software
