Employment Lawyer - High-Visibility Role

Our Employment Law practice is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in a fast-paced, advisory-heavy environment.

This high-visibility role involves taking the lead on complex employment law matters including compliance, advisory, investigations, and contentious issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employment and labour law issues including employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters
  • Represent clients before labour authorities, tribunals, and other forums as necessary
  • Draft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreements
  • Stay abreast of developments in Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams

Candidate Profile:

  • LL.B. from a reputed Indian law school
  • 7–12 years of post-qualification experience preferably with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department
  • Strong command of Indian labour laws industrial regulations and case law developments
  • Excellent legal drafting research and analytical skills
  • Business-oriented mindset with excellent client-handling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlines
