Job Title: Senior Process Safety & HSE Manager

 

Petrocon Engineers Consultant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Safety & HSE Manager to join their team.

 

This role involves ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and HSE standards across engineering, construction, and operational phases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA studies to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
  • Prepare and review safety-related documents, including Fire Risk Assessments, DSRs, and Hazardous Area Classification.
  • Develop and conduct QRA, FERA, ESSA, and other safety studies to evaluate and mitigate potential risks.
  • Review and ensure that process designs, layouts, and equipment specifications meet safety design standards.
  • Support design reviews, management of change (MoC), and alarm rationalization to ensure safe and efficient operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental, or Safety Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in process safety and HSE, preferably in EPC/design/project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PSM, risk assessment, and HSE regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
  • Proficient in tools like PHAST, PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, and DNV software.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC/PSM, TÜV Functional Safety, or equivalent preferred.
