Job Title: Process Policy Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Process Policy Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of various liabilities and payment products as per regulators like RBI/Internal Audit Teams/NPCI.

You will work on process and policy frameworks for products including savings accounts, fixed deposits, debit cards, and payment products. As an important part of the product team, you will ensure that processes and policies are aligned to internal and external guidelines governing the business and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adhere to all compliance-related items and assist in external and internal audits.
  • Strengthen systems, controls, and processes for robust internal and external compliance.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure adherence to RBI-related circulars.
  • Have a good understanding of RBI processes and policies, audit parameters, AML guidelines, and fraud management.
  • Be responsible for all regulatory reporting related to policies and processes, including reporting to RBI/AML/CPU teams.
  • Determine the impact of introducing new or revised policies for branches/customers/products.
  • Serve as a focal point to ensure continuity, proper integration, and implementation of new or revised policies and processes.
  • Build synergies and efficiencies by way of customer-centric processes.
  • Interact and coordinate with multiple product teams and business functions for effective and efficient delivery within specified timelines.
  • Draft and review process guidelines for product teams; act as a mediator for answering questions related to policies and processes.
  • Identify duplicate, redundant, and unproductive tasks in processes with an aim to reduce costs and improve productivity of the front-line staff.
  • Ensure processes and policies are aligned to internal and external guidelines.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a relevant field. Prior experience in setting up policies and processes for liabilities products will be an added advantage.
