Job Opportunity:

  • We seek a seasoned professional to oversee banking device procurement, importation, and Inventory Control Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve goals.
  • Evaluate user requirements and compare available products/services with industry trends.
  • Finalize vendor selection and costs through RFP processes.
  • Support User and Legal functions for contract execution from SCM perspectives.
  • Handle end-to-end activities related to warehousing & inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions on a regular basis to understand their needs/demands and manage sufficient inventories for each product accordingly through proper planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, and maintain trackers & repositories.
  • Cost savings through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies.
  • Raise the need for agreements (as per contracting guidelines) well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end. Regular coordination with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHAs, and customs departments for arranging materials well in time, considering user requirements.
  • Engage with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, & inventory, and imports.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.
  • Regular coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products on a daily basis.
  • Support data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 10-12 years of strong experience in Sourcing, Import, and Warehousing & Inventory Control Management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing workloads to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
