**Job Title:** Software Infrastructure Specialist

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions for global design teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in optimizing resource utilization, implementing advanced features, and building automation dashboards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Advanced Features: Define, architect, and implement advanced features like fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Lead the transformation of CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Develop and Implement Development Environments: Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate Key Processes: Automate key infrastructure processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Develop Dashboards and Monitoring Tools: Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.

 

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments. Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management is required. Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting) are also necessary. Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN) and version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus. Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
