Loss Prevention Manager

 

  • The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for managing the daily functions of the department to ensure the protection of property assets, employees, guests, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage security operations, maintain logs, certifications, and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Train staff in established emergency procedures and implement accident and fire prevention procedures.
  3. Oversee first aid program for guests and employees, oversee the claims process and protect company assets by closely monitoring the General Liability and Worker's Compensation cases.
  4. Communicate the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety.
  5. Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  6. Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  7. Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
  8. Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others, advocate sound financial business decision-making, demonstrates honesty, integrity, leads by example.
  9. Ensure exceptional customer service, meet quality standards and customer expectations on a daily basis.
  10. Inspect and critique the performance of the loss prevention department to establish and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  11. Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the security loss prevention or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 2 years experience in the security loss prevention or related professional area.
