Cloud Infrastructure Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Professional to monitor and administer our AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role involves ensuring the high availability and disaster recovery of our cloud solutions, overseeing automation scripts and tools, analyzing system performance, and implementing security best practices.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for administering company SaaS platforms, providing technical guidance and support to junior teams, and acting as an escalation resource for all technologies under the Platform Engineering umbrella.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Overseeing automation scripts and tools to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Analyzing system performance and implementing security best practices.
  • Administering company SaaS platforms and providing technical guidance and support.
  • Acting as an escalation resource for all technologies under the Platform Engineering umbrella.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
