Job Title: Project Cost ManagerAbout the Role:

The project cost manager plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects, particularly those involving specialized systems. With 5+ years of experience and a strong background in civil engineering, this professional will be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study project scope and validate technical specifications received from the design team to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client requirements, achieving cost savings through innovative solutions.
  • Validate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Present BOQs and solutions to management for approval, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Check and verify RA bills and final bills, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare amendments as needed, maintaining compliance with project requirements.
  • Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix, providing valuable insights for optimization.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design, promoting cost-effective choices.
  • Explore new products and obtain approvals, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Propose optimization options in budgets, driving cost savings and efficiency.
  • Complete budget requirements within given timelines without delays, demonstrating exceptional project management skills.
