Delivering Data Solutions as a Snowflake Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Snowflake Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions that power our analytics and intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Advanced SQL Queries: Write complex queries, stored procedures, and UDFs for large-scale analytics.
  • Optimize Data Models: Architect efficient schema structures to enhance performance.
  • Build ETL/ELT Pipelines: Utilize Snowflake's native features for data processing.
  • Enhance Query Performance: Conduct in-depth tuning to handle vast datasets efficiently.
  • Implement Security Measures: Manage role-based security, data masking, and governance within Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to create high-performing data solutions.
  • Integrate Cloud Platforms: Integrate Snowflake with other cloud services like AWS S3, Kafka, Redis, etc., and BI tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Snowflake Experience: Hands-on experience with query writing, optimization, and architecture.
  • Complex Query Expertise: Proven ability to write highly complex SQL queries that scale across massive datasets.
  • Data Warehousing Knowledge: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics-driven design.
  • Tuning and Optimization: Demonstrated success in query performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency with programming languages like Python for data transformation and orchestration.
