Senior Software Developer Position

We are looking for a skilled software developer to join our Customer Experience Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining foundational systems that power customer billing, contracting, and enterprise account management.

This is a high-impact position working on mission-critical systems that directly affect customer experience and business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Billing Engine Infrastructure: Design, develop, and maintain the billing engine infrastructure with a focus on accuracy, performance, and scalability.
  • Rate Card Systems: Implement and optimize rate card systems to support complex pricing models and billing scenarios.
  • Billing Calculations: Ensure billing calculations are precise, auditable, and handle edge cases gracefully.
  • Invoicing Systems: Build robust invoicing systems that integrate seamlessly with our ERP; implement invoice generation, delivery, and tracking capabilities.
  • Billing Engine Optimization: Optimize the billing engine infrastructure for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Contract Management: Build programmatic contract management solutions that automate contract lifecycle processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience with Prisma ORM and database modeling.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design.
  • Experience with Firebase for application deployment and management.
  • Understanding of financial systems, business process automation, or fintech applications.
  • Experience building Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures and API design patterns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience building billing engines, payment systems, or financial software.
  • Knowledge of contract management systems and business process automation.
  • Background in user authentication and authorization systems.
  • Experience with high-scale, high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (SOX, PCI, etc.).
