Backend API Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend API Developer to join our team. Our client is a global technology consulting and digital solutions company that helps businesses leverage digital technologies to reimagine business models, accelerate innovation, and drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or system design, with a focus on NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and ExpressJS. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into a working solution, demonstrating adaptability and empathy in the process. Strong customer relationship skills, problem resolution, and improved efficiencies and productivity are also essential.

This role requires experience with large-scale enterprise system development and integration, Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework, as well as knowledge of tools like Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation and delivering results-oriented solutions that meet our clients' needs.

  • 7+ years of equivalent work experience in project management, business analysis, or system design
  • Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer with a focus on NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and ExpressJS
  • Experience with Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure platform is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Analysis — collaborating directly with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into a working solution
  • Adaptability — fast learner with a willingness to build solutions using tools to which you may have had little previous exposure
  • Empathy—the innate ability to understand the challenges faced by our customers, and the drive to resolve them
