Data Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Data Engineer position. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing data lakehouse solutions using Apache Iceberg and Apache Spark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data lakehouse solution utilizing Apache Iceberg and Apache Spark technologies
  • Enable high-performance analytics by integrating financial datasets and reporting engines
  • Collaborate with AWS services to create secure and scalable infrastructure
  • Apply Docker and containerized workflows to ensure smooth deployment and team collaboration
  • Work with Treasury SMEs and engineers to translate functional goals into technical execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in data engineering, including domain exposure to Treasury or finance
  • Deep expertise with Apache Spark, Iceberg, ETL frameworks, and distributed computing principles
  • Strong experience with AWS services for data orchestration and transformation
  • Solid grasp of Docker-based environments and cross-team development practices
  • Bonus: Familiarity with data lakehouse related technologies such as AWS Glue, Nessie, or Trino
  • Bonus: Experience with financial instruments, liquidity models, or regulatory requirements

Your Qualifications:

  • MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Expert-level understanding of software development life cycle
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
