Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data engineer with expertise in solution architecture to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures for our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop scalable solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles. They will possess comprehensive knowledge of data modelling techniques and methodologies, including data normalization and denormalization practices.

You will also need hands-on experience across a wide variety of database technologies, data transformation tools, change data capture and data streaming technologies, and data warehousing concepts. Additionally, you will require experience with cloud-based data architectures and platforms, such as Azure SQL Database, Synapse, and Snowflake.

Familiarity with .NET Core and Python FastAPI or similar technologies is desirable, as is expertise in ensuring data security patterns, authentication, and authorization methods, and knowledge of insurance policy operations, regulations, and compliance frameworks specific to Consumer lines.
