Plant Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will lead a greenfield project in electronics and consumer durables.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Overall plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain.
  • Manufacturing strategy development to drive operational excellence and business outcomes.
  • Smooth ramp-up and stabilization of greenfield projects or capacity expansions.
  • High-volume SMT lines and PCB assembly processes management with focus on yield improvement and defect reduction.
  • Best-in-class practices for electronics manufacturing implementation, including reflow soldering, wave soldering, and AOI/X-ray inspections.
  • Collaboration with engineering and quality teams to support NPI and process engineering.
  • End-to-end greenfield project execution: land acquisition, plant layout, machinery selection, infrastructure development, and commissioning.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration to ensure timely, within-budget, and compliant execution.
  • Quality standards adherence (ISO/TS/IEC/IPC).
  • QMS implementation and zero-defect culture promotion.
  • Team building and leadership across production, maintenance, and engineering functions.
  • Workforce engagement, skill development, and organizational capability building.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM implementation to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Process innovation and waste elimination through cost-saving initiatives.
  • Full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Safety culture building and plant-wide EHS initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant operations.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
