This position oversees the management of critical IT projects, ensuring successful execution and driving continuous improvements. It involves playing a hands-on leadership role for key IT initiatives and leading a team of project managers and coordinators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for strategic project planning, governance, methodology framework, and resource capacity management.
  • Ensure that project management standards are implemented across the IT portfolio.
  • Supervise and mentor the project management team, including performance reviews, career growth, and training.
  • Analyse project proposals to determine timelines, funding, and required processes.
  • Provide effective leadership and motivation to project teams through all project phases.
  • Implement effective project communication, including regular meetings and progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in project management of complex IT projects.
  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Disciplined Agile, etc.).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Background in Business Analysis.
  • Prior team leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing external vendors and contract staff.
