Chandigarh University is seeking an Anchor to host various events, shows, and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Hosting and Presenting:
    • Host university events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs.
    • Deliver live commentary and engage with the audience to create a lively atmosphere.
    • Introduce speakers, dignitaries, and guests, ensuring a smooth transition between event segments.
    • Conduct interviews, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions when required.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Engage with the audience through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative segments.
    • Maintain an energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor to ensure audience engagement.
    • Ensure all event timings are adhered to and manage transitions between segments.
  • Content Preparation:
    • Work closely with the event team to understand the theme, objectives, and content of the event.
    • Prepare scripts, speeches, and presentations in alignment with the event's tone and message.
    • Research relevant topics and information to provide accurate and engaging content.
  • Coordination with Organizers and Teams:
    • Collaborate with event coordinators, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the event flow.
  • Brand Representation:
    • Represent the university in a positive, professional, and articulate manner during public interactions.
    • Ensure that the university's vision, values, and messages are consistently communicated during all events.
  • Social Media and Digital Engagement:
    • Assist in promoting events through social media platforms and university channels.
    • Record short video snippets, interviews, or highlights from the event for promotional use.
