Cloud Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our Azure Cloud Data Engineering Service Delivery team in Noida, India. The ideal candidate will have foundational skills and experience in data warehouse star schema with ETL concepts, previous SQL knowledge, and 3-5 years of experience in cloud data engineering support or development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and responding to issues or failures in the Cloud Data Engineering processes for data processing and loading.
  • Experience in batch processing, API, and streaming data processing using Databricks Notebooks, Python, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure App Insights, IWS Job Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of automated and scheduled batch job tools such as Databricks Workflows, IBM IWS and Control-M.
  • Incident and Problem Management using ServiceNow meeting SLA expectations.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in cloud data engineering support or development teams.
  • Foundational skills and experience in data warehouse star schema with ETL concepts.
  • Previous SQL knowledge and experience with large EDL environments.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams and business representatives.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Data Product Hygiene and ability to champion this in work.
  • Support Security and Audit Compliance initiatives related to Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Experience with Big Data solutions and NoSQL DBMSs.
