Cloud Architect & ETL Expert


About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect and ETL expert to lead our cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing cloud computing strategies.


Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Cloud Adoption: Identify opportunities for cloud technology to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Application Design: Design and implement scalable, high-performing AWS-based applications.
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Migration: Oversee the migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud platforms.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth integration of cloud services with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Security: Implement cloud security best practices to protect data and applications.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Governance: Develop and enforce cloud governance policies and procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost-management strategies to optimize cloud spending.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations.
  • IaC Tools: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • API Integration: Integrate and manage API integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
  • ETL Tool Integration: Integrate and manage ETL tools like Matillion to streamline data processes.
  • AI Platform Management: Manage AI platforms such as Dataiku or Databricks.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, API integrations, and AI platform operations.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT operations, cloud architecture, and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cloud services, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with IaC tools, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.
  • Extensive Python experience and API integration troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in cloud platforms.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
