Azure Data Architect Position

We are seeking a seasoned Azure professional to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data platforms on Microsoft's cloud computing platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive architecture designs for data-driven solutions on Azure, incorporating services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  2. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of data and analytics projects, adhering to organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.
  3. Partner with Pre-sales teams to support RFP responses, solutioning, and client presentations, highlighting the benefits of Azure-based modern data platforms.
  4. Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation and design specifications to facilitate effective knowledge sharing among team members.
  5. Provide expert guidance to implementation teams on best practices for deploying Azure services and data workloads, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  6. Oversee data integration pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure tools, ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the organization.
  7. Support application migration and modernization efforts on Azure, leveraging expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data and analytics solutions.
  8. Lead by example, providing technical leadership and mentoring to development and data engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data and analytics solutions, including Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
  • Experience in application migration and modernization on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management (including Active Directory), and compliance practices.
  • Proficient in modern application architectures (microservices, containers, event-driven systems).
  • Bachelors degree in engineering (B. Tech or equivalent) with a solid foundation in software engineering and architectural design.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications: AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), AZ-305 (Solution Architect Expert), DP-203 (Data Engineer Associate).
