Operations Leader

Our organization is looking for a highly skilled Operations Leader to oversee our Transportation team and drive sustainable growth across our Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain & Transportation execution teams.

This role requires the ability to quickly grasp business issues and challenges of Transportation operations, identify strengths/weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement.

  • Map business requirements, understand business processes, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare functional specifications
  • Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience
  • Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply when solving business problems

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, piloting and rolling out enterprise-wide programs around performance improvement, cycle time reduction, delivery experience enhancement, financial auditing, identification of alternate delivery services etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing standard operating procedures
  • Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals, strategic planning and forecasting
  • Leading a team of business analysts, program managers or area managers
  • Leading process improvements
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
