Senior BIM Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Modeller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the production and verification of BIM models and civil, piping and equipment drawings for selected projects.

You will work closely with various Arcadis Regional offices/teams to ensure safe design requirements are met, and risks are flagged at appropriate levels. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Technical assurance and quality assurance
  • Client feedback and effective communication
  • Proactive engagement with regional offices and teams
  • Reviewing work and driving the culture of checking and accountability in the team

In addition, you will be expected to adhere to schedules and quality requirements, work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design, and collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges.

You will have a high level of communication and writing skills, and leverage BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of Autodesk Suite software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, as well as federation tools like Navisworks Manage.

A strong understanding of Microsoft office suites is also required.

The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge, academically good, and familiar with British/European water industry codes, drawing standards, and practices.

You will have experience of large-scale projects related to treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, intakes, outfalls, and water and wastewater conveyance systems.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or BE Civil, and/or ITI Drafting from a recognized University, with 5+ years experience as a BIM Modeller.

A professional accreditation from recognized institutes, e.g., ICE, ISO 19650 Certification, or software competency certification status, will be an added advantage.
