Job Title: Automation Systems Developer

About the Position:

  • Tenant Onboarding Solution: Develop a system for tenant onboarding, dues generation, and reminders.
  • Electricity/Fines Logging System: Create a system to log electricity/fines and track complaints.
  • Caretaker Web Application: Build a lightweight web application for photo uploads and quick actions.
  • Owner Dashboard: Design an owner dashboard to display occupancy %, receivables, alerts, and exports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ship Small Features Regularly: Ship small features weekly and demo every Friday.
  • Write Clean Pull Requests: Write clean pull requests with READMEs and basic tests.
  • Automate Repetitive Operations: Automate repetitive operations with scripts/flows and measure what you ship.

  • Self-Disciplined Individual: Self-disciplined, reliable, and async-first.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Version Control: Comfortable with Git and command line.
    • Computer Engineering Background: Self-taught or computer engineering background.

Bonus Points:

  • Prompt Engineering Knowledge: Knowledge of prompt engineering, structuring prompts, tool-use, and evals.
  • Cloud Computing Expertise: Familiarity with Google Cloud, Cloud Run, IAM, Firebase, Cloud Build/Storage.
  • LLM CLI Experience: Experience with Gemini API/CLI, Codex/Code-LLM CLI, or similar LLM CLIs.
  • Programming Language Basics: Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, REST/webhooks.
  • Cloud APIs and Tools: Familiarity with WhatsApp Cloud API, Google Sheets/Apps Script, Next.js/React, Supabase/Firebase.
